The Sports RD Mentorship
For dietitians who know they’re meant to work in sports, but don’t know how to get there - this is the mentorship that turns uncertainty into confidence and ambition into action.
The Sports RD Mentorship gives aspiring and early-career Sports Dietitians the skills, confidence, and real-world experience to step into their first roles and immediately make an impact.
Led by Brittany Perry, MS, RD, CSSD, CEDS-C, LDN - former Big Ten Sports Dietitian with 10 years of collegiate experience and current tactical dietitian and private practice owner - this mentorship provides the practical, sport-specific guidance many Sports RDs wish they had earlier in their careers.
Whether you’re working toward your first sports nutrition role, navigating collegiate or high-performance environments, or refining your clinical, fueling, and workflow systems, this program helps you think, communicate, and practice like a confident Sports RD.
What Makes This Mentorship Different
In addition to direct guidance and case-based mentoring, you’ll learn from a diverse lineup of guest speakers across the performance ecosystem. Throughout the program, you’ll hear from:
-
Sports Dietitians in collegiate, professional, tactical, chef-RD, and private practice roles - offering insight into career paths, day-to-day responsibilities, and how they got where they are.
-
Strength & Conditioning coaches and Performance Directors - helping you learn how to communicate and collaborate effectively, even when conversations are difficult.
-
Cognitive performance and mindset specialists - addressing confidence, imposter syndrome, and the mental skills needed to thrive.
-
Athletics administrators and directors - teaching you how to communicate your value, advocate for resources, and gain support for your department.
These sessions offer not only education, but direct Q&A and relationship-building so you begin forming your professional network from day one.
